Sheevah's Story...
Sheevah is a 3 year old pitbull who is an ambassador for the breed. This sweet girl is quite lovely inside and out! She wants nothing more than to please her people. She likes little and big dogs, loves children (you know there were originally bred to be nannies). This stocky girls knows her own strength and is gentle as can be when playing with those smaller than her. She is potty trained and has great indoor manners. Though she does have a penchant for stealing her mom's chicken alfredo but then again who can resist a plate of chicken alfredo? This pretty girl will steal your heart with her with her citrine eyes and sweet soul! Her adoption fee is $225 it includes her annual vaccinations, dewormer, microchip, rabies license, spay and vet exam.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sheevah, a Baton Rouge Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Baton Rouge, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Baton Rouge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baton Rouge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baton Rouge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baton Rouge paves the way for another one to be saved.
