Deebo's Story...
Deebo is a 3 year old cat available for adoption. Poor Deebo has already been bounced around from home to home and now ended up at our facility. He was found as a stray and lucky for him he had a microchip. Unfortunately, when we traced the chip the family stated that they had given him away to another family. We contacted the new family and they also said they had given him away. Neither of them wanted Deebo back so Deebo sat in a cage for two weeks until he was able to go to the adoption room. Deebo is a sweetheart that loves people and he goes crazy for any feathered toy! He does good with other cats and dogs with proper introduction. He also does great with kids. Deebo is looking for a final home that will be his forever home this time! He does not want to be worried about being tossed outside when they get tired of him. His adoption fee is $65 and includes all his vaccines, registered microchip, fecal exam, deworming, FIV/Felv test, and neuter.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Deebo, a Joliet Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Joliet, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Joliet.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Joliet already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Joliet breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Joliet paves the way for another one to be saved.
