Bo's Story...

Tampa, FL HI I am BO!!! or they call me Bo Bo too! I am a senior, super sweet, affectionate boy who was kenneled all of my life then dumped at the age of 9+ yrs at animal control after I was apparently used for breeding (I am AKC) then when owners used me for this and kept me kenneled my entire life they left me to die. Well some kind people with Maxx & Me Pet Rescue saw my pictures and loving volunteers drove from FL to Greenwood, SC back to Tampa, FL (18 hrs) to bring me and another pal to safety. I am healthy, have some vision loss but this doesn't stop me and I love being right by your side. I am good with other dogs too. I will be a loyal, loving and super sweet friend to you that is still active! Email maxxandmerescue@gmail.com for an application. Adoption fee is $175 which includes all vetting and shots.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bo, a Tampa Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
