Sassy's Story...
Hi my name is Sassy and I live up to my name. I like to be busy and am really looking for some space to run and play with some toys. I had a rough start in life, I came from a cat colony and have a condition that makes my eyes weepy sometimes. It is not contagious so no worries, I can be with other cats as long as they are up to date with their vaccinations. My sister Saffron is here with me and it would be nice if we could go to a home together but it is not imperative. I am the outgoing sister and she is the shy one. I am dewormed, vaccinated, spayed, microchipped and litter box trained. Please call the shelter at 705-458-9038 to come and check me out. THE ADOPTION FEE FOR SASSY CAN BE REDUCED OR ELIMINATED AND A FOSTER TO ADOPT HOME WILL BE CONSIDERED.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sassy, a Everett Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Everett, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Everett.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Everett already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Everett breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Everett paves the way for another one to be saved.
