Chocolate was picked up by the San Pedro Animal Control during an animal cruelty investigation which resulted in her human surrender her to the shelter. She called the Harbor Shelter home for approximately three months and the staff and volunteers family, and although she was loved by all (critters and humans) euthanasia was imminent if she was not adopted out soon.... after a few weeks of planing we were able to step in and rescue her!!!
She is now in a foster home, sleeping in a cozy bed, snuggling next to her own toys and getting the love and care all dogs need!
This senior buxom beauty is 92lbs of love, warmth and everything good! At 10 years old, she is ready for her happy ending in a forever home, with a family she can call her own! She's a big cuddle bug and loves carrots!!
