Nate's Story...
Hi my name is Nate! I am about 10 to 12 weeks old and a loving guy. My Mom and Dad are feral cats but I figured out that visiting a person was a good deal, as I got lots of good food. So I was happy to get huggzz and pets for food. But that lovely human who helped me grow up healthy wasn't able to keep me and called the shelter to make sure I would not be out in the cold this winter. I have been dewormed, vaccinated and litter trained. If you pick me you will have to agree to get me spayed when I am 7 or 8 months old, I hope you are ok with that. Please call the adoption line at 705-458-9038 as I will be waiting.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nate, a Everett Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Everett, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Everett.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Everett already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Everett breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Everett paves the way for another one to be saved.
