Daisy Duke's Story...

My name is Daisy Duke! My previous mommy loved me and cared for me. I found myself in rescue when her health failed. I really need a home where I can be queen bee! I do not mind my eye drops and once I warm up I will love you forever! Please take me home!

Daisy is 9 years old and weighs 12 pounds. She is blind in one eye and requires daily eye drops for glaucoma. Other than her eyes she is in good health. Daisy is not 100% housebroken but does know how to use pee pads. She is sweet and likes to snuggle. Daisy is OK with other dogs as long as they are older and calm. She has not been around cats or children.

If you are interested in adopting Daisy please go to our website for more information about our adoption process and to fill out an application. www.btrfl.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy Duke, a Lake Mary Boston Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boston Terrier for sale in Lake Mary, or seeking a Boston Terrier dog from a breeder in Lake Mary.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lake Mary already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lake Mary breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boston Terrier breeders who help with Boston Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lake Mary paves the way for another one to be saved.
