My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Macy is Adopted

Macy is fostered in Lisbon Ohio and his adoption donation is 200
He weighs 25 to 26 pounds and is red or blonde and white parti with flecking.

He was said to be 5 but his paperwork has 2007 as DOB. My vet said due to his eyes he would go with closer to 8 but he acts more like 5.
From what I have learned Macy is a very sweet, loving, happy little boy.
He came into the shelter from a neglected life with ear problems and skin problems.
His skin cleared up once put on a proper diet and his ears have been doing pretty good since I've had him.
Very routine cleaning for him will most likely be key.
The shelter had recommended a muzzle for ear care until he is comfortable with the new person.
I have cleaned his ears with and without with no problems at all.

The shelter recommend no small children because he seems to be reactive to new people and dogs etc.
I personally feel he just gets excited and likes to bark.
I have not seen any form of aggression.
He did grumble or growl at Mom and Debby each one time for grabbing his color to put him in the kennel but he has never done that to me and I didn't hear the grumble or growl.

He is housebroke as long as you take him out and make sure he goes.
He won't go by himself in the fenced yard with my dogs. I have to walk out with him. He does not ask to go out.

He nurses blankets and toys. It's super cute. He's affectionate, and likes toys.
He loves this one ball I have and tends to carry it around.
He does chase it if thrown but he doesn't necessarily bring it back lol.

Macy is a very nice dog. His teeth are white but he has small teeth, a very slight under bite and is missing one upper canine. Cutie!

He Will require the continued better diet for skin, ears etc. I have been feeding him grain free duck and he seems to be doing well.

He loves to have his belly rubbed. He's a very happy little dog.
He can be a bit barky when excited as opposed to being calm but I wouldn't call him a barker.

We are recommending an adult only home for him

Macy is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and heartworm negative
