Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jethro is a young beagle male who is house-trained, good with other dogs and children. He is around 3-4 years old and is a muscular 30+ pounds on a 15-inch frame.
Jethro was lost from a pack of hunting beagles and when the family who found him could not find his owner, they contacted HBHR to find this wonderful boy a new home. He still has the pack brand makings in his fur which may fade over time as his fur sheds. He has become very accustomed to living in a house and using a doggie door. He is very affectionate and enjoys snuggling with his human companions. He loves to play with toys and spending time outside. He enjoys playing with his three other beagle housemates. He does have a loud bark but doesn't bark as much as a typical beagle. He ignores squirrels, but will chase deer. He walks well on a leash, but is a bit of an escape artist if given the chance to get out of a door or gate.
