for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Kingsford's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, and a special needs pet.

Kingsford's Story...
Kingsford was found with severely burned feet. The pads and toes on three of his four feet have 2nd and 3rd degree burns. It is not known if this was through an accident or abuse. But he is the most affectionate kitten you could imagine. He will require several weeks of attention before he is ready for adoption, but will be looking for a perfect loving home. He will likely be available to adopt by the end of August 2015.
Update - Kingsford is healing much more quickly that we could have hoped! Three of his feet look great and the fourth is progressing nicely!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kingsford, a Wilmore Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Wilmore, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Wilmore.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wilmore already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wilmore breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wilmore paves the way for another one to be saved.
