Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Brooklyn (Yellow lab mix) and Prince (Red lab mix) are brother and sister and extremely bonded to one another. They have lived together all their lives and when separated they are very sad. Due to them being a bonded pair and a bit older, they have been in foster care for a year. They were actually originally adopted out as small puppies 9 years ago and unfortunately due to a foreclosure situation, they were returned to Valley Dogs Rescue.
They are very loving, but also can be independent left alone in the home while their owners work a full day. While they warm up to other dogs, proper introductions are needed to ensure they feel comfortable with other dogs. They currently live with another 60 pound dog in their foster home, but needed to be introduced slowly and taken on walks to bond as a pack.
Brooklyn is more playful and Prince likes to watch the world go by as he looks out the window.
Both are about 55 pounds and very healthy. Since they are lab mixes, they have many great years left. They are looking for a family that will take them for rides in the car, hikes and walks to have fun. They are both 9 years old, male and female and about 60 pounds. Brooklyn and Prince are vaccinated, fixed, micro-chipped and ready for their furever home!
