Phantom's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Phantom's Story...
Phantom is looking for a family to love! This sweet handsome boy is a year and a half old, and weighs 50 pounds. We are guessing he is a combination of German Shepherd X Border Collie. His coat is the color of a Shepherd but it is longer and silky. Phantom loves everyone - people, dogs, cats, and kids! He is very affectionate, and acts like he is the luckiest guy to have such friends. We have never encountered such an energetic, playful guy who is also incredibly loving. He would be a great addition to an active family that enjoys a lot of physical activity, such as hiking or running. Rescued recently, Phantom is now in foster care in Edmonton AB, but is planning to be transferred to BC, if an adoptive home in Alberta isn't found soon. He has been dewormed, neutered and completely vaccinated. All he needs now is his forever family. Could it be you? If interested, email us at info.pvca@gmail.com for an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Phantom, a Victoria Border Collie/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Victoria, or seeking a Border Collie/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Victoria.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Victoria already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Victoria breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Border Collie/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Victoria paves the way for another one to be saved.
