My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mint was born in New Moon’s care on 26 March 2012. She was adopted on 3 September 2012 where she met her forever friend, George. Sadly, on 9 April 2015 both were surrendered to New Moon Rabbit Rescue by their owner and were not in good shape when they arrived. They spent many months in foster care recovering and happy to still have each other during this difficult time. George was in much worse shape than Mint and needed much longer to recover. His recovery also included surgery, which meant that they would not be adoptable until he was well enough.

On 2 December 2015, only days before having their status changed to adoptable, George passed away suddenly. Mint is now alone. She is coping well but we know she would most like and be happier if she had another bunny to share her life with. Mint is a sweet, sweet girl…. But will need time to mend her broken heart.

Mint is now available as a single bunny. We would like to find her a home with a gentle bunny friend.
