Stella Mae's Story...
Initial bio 12-3-15 Stella Mae is a 5 month old puppy. She is about 4.5 pounds and being fostered in Dunedin, FL.

Stella Mae has experienced quite a bit in her very short life. She accidentally injured her back leg and had to have it in a cast for a month. Imagine how hard that is for a puppy. While this was going on her owner's health was at risk and she found it very difficult to care for herself and for this puppy who needed to be carried around or restrained for 6-8 weeks. With many tears she surrendered Stella Mae to UYR knowing we would find this adorable puppy the best forever home.

Right now Stella Mae is about 4.5 pounds, but she may end up a little bigger. She will grow for another 5 months, however she will always be the cutest little girl. She's a Yorkie, need we say more. She needs a home with no children since she is so small and her leg is still healing. She also needs a home with people who can work with her on her puppy behaviors and have the energy for a young puppy.

Stella Mae is not totally house trained because it was set back as her leg was healing. Stella Mae is all up to date on her vaccinations, but she still will need her spay. We don't know too much more about her since she spent so much time healing her injury and being contained in a pen or a crate. Her real puppy self has not yet emerged, but it will soon enough

Much more information and new pictures will be coming soon. Watch for them.
