Jessica's Story...
Our photographers don't usually include the photos where the eyes are closed, but this particular one shows Jessica's super happy personality, as she laughs at some private joke!
Jessica is not pretty like some of our puppies, and because of that, combined with "black dog syndrome", she has been with us much longer than she should have been. She is playful, completely crate trained, fun, good with most other dogs (she plays great in the dog park!), protective, and loving. If you do come meet her, please do not mention what we said about her not being as pretty as some of the others, because we tell her every day that she is beautiful!

One of her caretakers describes her this way, " I cannot say enough great things about this precious girl. She is a black bully breed mix which is why she is overlooked. She is so affectionate. She will clean your face with kisses. She plays with other dogs and loves the dog park. She melts into your body as you are petting her. She so desires your love. She is waiting for her forever family."

Adoption fee $120

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jessica, a Yukon Shar Pei/Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shar Pei/Bull Terrier for sale in Yukon, or seeking a Shar Pei/Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Yukon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Yukon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Yukon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shar Pei/Bull Terrier breeders who help with Shar Pei/Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Yukon paves the way for another one to be saved.
