OLIVER's Story...
OLIVER IS a 11 month old Great Pyranees / Anatolian Shepherd mix. He is very striking and turns heads wherever he goes! He is in the Perfect Puppy Program at PAWS BEHIND BARS and is an incredible student! He is calm and even keeled and a joy to be around! He is going to be over 100 pounds when he stops growing. He will need a large yard and exercise daily! OLIVER has a very laid back personality and has been taken to large adoption events and taken everything in stride. He is great with other dogs and would be good with any age child.

OLIVER is fully vetted and will be neutered before adoption. He is finished with his PAWS BEHIND BARS prison training and is ready to join a loving family! If you would like to meet this gem of a dog, please contact Adopt Me! Bluegrass Pet Rescue at email: adoptmebpr@aol.com or phone 502-777-1442.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

OLIVER, a LaGrange Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd for sale in LaGrange, or seeking a Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd dog from a breeder in LaGrange.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in LaGrange already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a LaGrange breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd breeders who help with Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in LaGrange paves the way for another one to be saved.
