My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mary is a female baby Husky X who was rescued from a reserve in the most northern part of Ontario. They were flown into Thunder Bay and then driven to Barrie where OCAR met fellow rescue friends to pick them up. She is very frisky, playful and energetic. She loves a good game of tug, or keep away, but she'll never turn down a belly rub.

Because the puppies are just babies at this time, we are still learning about their personalities!

Puppies will all come dewormed, flea treated, with 1st vaccinations only (two sets of boosters and rabies vaccine is your responsibility), microchip and spay/neuter at 6 months is also included!

If you are located within reasonable driving distance of Hamilton, ON you’ll receive a complimentary training consult with our trainer between 2-4 weeks after adoption to help you get off on the right foot with your new puppy.

You will be required to attend group obedience class with your puppy between 12 weeks – 6 months old. You can provide the name and class dates you’ll be attending to the rescue upon adoption. This is something we want you to arrange ahead of time. Socialization is very important!

The Adoption Fee is: $350.00

Please apply online at www.oxfordcountyanimalrescue.com

You will only be contacted if we wish to arrange a home visit to proceed with adoption. After your home visit, we will let you know when and where you can pick up your puppy.

**Please do not call or email to followup on status of your application unless you’ve been contacted for a home visit. We do not have the volunteer manpower to field all of the emails and phone calls. Thank you for your understanding.**
