Boo's Story...
Boo is a female jack russell terrier mix, approximately 14 weeks old that weighs about 4 lbs. Boo is a lot of fun. She loves running around and chasing her toys and sliding across the floor. She loves everyone and everything! She is still a baby so she has to be monitored closely but she is going to make a great family dog. She is crate trained and is doing well with her potty training. She has been spayed, microchipped and had all her puppy shots. Her adoption fee is $195. Contact Cindy for more information cindylisk@bellsouth.net or 404-661-1893.

All our dogs live in foster homes. Please contact the foster home email listed for more information and and an adoption application. Please note, our adoptions are not done on a "first come first serve" basis. We are looking for the best possible match for our dogs and reserve the right to select or refuse an application at our discretion. CAN is a 100% volunteer-based rescue and all our volunteers have jobs, families and dogs to take care of. Thank you for your patience and understanding if we don't get back to you immediately.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Boo, a Ball Ground Jack Russell Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Ball Ground, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier puppy from a breeder in Ball Ground.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ball Ground already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ball Ground breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ball Ground paves the way for another one to be saved.
