Lil Bit and Big Sis came up to us from Florida,,, both are supposed to be blind... and Lil Bit is,,,we're not quite sure with Big Sis............
They depend on each other to some extent,,,, but that has been lessening as they settled in. Big Sis goes her own way a lot of the time and wanders around checking things out,, while Lil Sis spends most of her time sleeping in one dog bed or another,,,, she goes out on the deck and spends a lot of time out there in decent weather. Occasionally she'll go down the ramp into the yard and then get confused and holler for help...... but she seems to know that help will come,, and she doesn't get upset about it... They are both estimated to be about 9-10 yrs old and have been vetted and are heartworm negative and have great appetites (we're going to have to rename 'Lil Sis' soon at the rate she's going!!)
If you have room in your home and heart for a little blind dog or two who are very low maintenance and very appreciative of any attention shown them,,,, I'd like to nominate this pair.
