Betsy's Story...
Meet Sweet Betsy she is a 39lb. She is a Beagle Shepard mix and maybe other hound or boarder collie. She is black and brown and a sweet calm and quiet girl. She is house broken and lets her foster mom know when she needs to go out. She is in a foster home with 3 large or I should say XL dogs. They are all males and they all get along great with Betsy. She adjusted so quickly to her foster home and is no problem at all. I would say she is just a all around great dog! She also gets to go to work with her foster mom at a dog grooming shop, where she is socialized with a ton of dogs. She has been so great with people and dogs! She is also living with a 11year old boy and a 8 year old girl and she is wonderful with them. She has not barked yet and she rides well in the car. She walks fairly well on a leash doesn't pull much but is really excited about going. I would say that she would be a great addition to any family, she would be great for someone who wants a dog to go on walks but also is relaxed at home. She has just been no problem at all in our home and I hope someone will adopt her and give her a forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Betsy, a St. Charles German Shepherd Dog/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Beagle for sale in St. Charles, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Beagle dog from a breeder in St. Charles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St. Charles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St. Charles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Beagle breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St. Charles paves the way for another one to be saved.
