Pinky's Story...
This is Pinky and she. is. ADORABLE. Pinky has faint black spots, but she got her name because her hair was thinned when we got her and her bright pink skin was showing through. Pinky has been getting treatment for her skin and hasn't let it stop her from being the happiest dog in the world. Pinky will need a special home because she is deaf. The great thing about her is that we don't think she realizes she's any different. She is just as loving and playful and well mannered as any other dog. She is working with our trainer and learning commands by wearing a vibrating collar - and she learns fast! She is only 8 months old and eager to please and love on her person forever. This little girl is sure to find a home quickly - so come meet her today!

Act quickly to adopt Pinky. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pinky, a Belle Chasse Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Belle Chasse, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Belle Chasse.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Belle Chasse already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Belle Chasse breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Belle Chasse paves the way for another one to be saved.
