Indie's Info...

I am already spayed, purebred, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Indie's Story...
Welcome to Indie's world, where everything is great. Indie is a female black Lab born approximately 10/07. She is up to date on shots, spayed and heartworm negative. Indie is currently living with a family that realizes that they are just not home enough to give Indie the attention she needs and ultimately deserves. She is such a happy-go-lucky gal who gets along great with other dogs. She loves people and longs for a home that is active and caring. Cats at this new home are a no-no since Indie thinks of them as prey. Indie would be a great addition to an active family who needs just one more to make the family complete

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Indie, a Baton Rouge Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Baton Rouge, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Baton Rouge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baton Rouge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baton Rouge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baton Rouge paves the way for another one to be saved.
