Miami's Story...
This sleek black beauty is Miami, a 2 year old guy that is dreaming of a great home of his own. Miami came to us in July 2015 as a stray. He was a bit thin and neglected, no way for a young kitten to start his life in the big world. He was thrilled to be brought to safety and Miami is now healthy, happy and thriving, and ready to meet that wonderful family that will give him the happy life that he deserves. Miami resides in our free roaming area where he fit right in with the other cats. He gets along great with all of them and spends his days romping around checking out everything he sees, playing with the others, and snoozing on a big comfy bed. Miami is quite kittenish still and loves to have fun. He is overjoyed to make new friends and is very outgoing and affectionate. Miami is super sweet and would put a smile on your face for the rest of his life if you give him the good home that he's hoping for. File#25208 7/25/15

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Miami, a Forked River Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Forked River, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Forked River.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Forked River already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Forked River breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Forked River paves the way for another one to be saved.
