RAY's Story...

RAY is currently located at Petco Newport Beach Adoption Center. You may visit him anytime during store hours! Adoption materials are also located at the store. PETCO NEWPORT BEACH is located at 1280 Bison Ave, Newport Beach in the Newport North shopping center. Corner of Bison and MacArthur off the 73 freeway. (949) 759-9520

Ray is a male short hair Tuxedo kitten approximately 5 months old. He is a big, healthy boy with tons of personality! If you want a confident, outgoing kitten, Ray is your guy. Ray is very social, wonderfully affectionate, afraid of nothing, and will be the first one to investigate any new situation. He would be excellent for a family or person who wants a playful, amusing and entertaining kitty. Ray is good with children, excellent with other cats (only if they are playful because he will want to play!) and is fine with dogs. If there is a toy within sight, Ray will be playing with it. He has an awesome personality and enjoys being the center of attention. Nothing bothers this bold boy. He is delightful to watch play and is super fun to play with. He can also snuggle with the best of them and loves to be petted. Ray is very affectionate with people and can generally be found wherever you are, or playing nearby. He is litter box trained and great inside the home. Ray was rescued from a very high-volume/high-kill shelter where he was brought in stray. You can't go wrong with this well-adjusted, smart and outgoing kitten. Ray is very healthy and ready for his new forever home today!

Ray's adoption donation is $150 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been neutered, Fiv/Felv tested, microchipped, and is up-to-date on all of his vaccinations. All kittens are treated with Revolution flea/tick medication and de-wormed. Also included is his folder containing all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.

You may meet and apply to adopt Ray at PETCO NEWPORT BEACH anytime during store hours. PETCO NEWPORT BEACH is located at 1280 Bison Ave., Newport Beach, CA 92660. (949) 759-9520

Thank you for wanting to save a life and adopt a rescue.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

RAY, a Newport Beach Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Newport Beach, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Newport Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newport Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newport Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newport Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
