Alyssa's Story...
This sweet litter of puppies were born on Oct. 27, 2015. The Momma is a lab/mix and the Daddy (according to owner) is an Aussie. The Momma is staying with her owner, and we are going to have her spayed. We want to help stop the maddness of puppies after puppies being born. With that being said we want to ensure that these babies will never reproduce another litter either, so they will be adopted with a mandatory spay/neuter contract & voucher to our vet. They will be given their shots when due at six weeks.
Since they were taken away early from their Mom (owner said she had quit feeding them) we will try to help socialize them with other dogs to the best of our ability.
We also are going to be looking for the perfect home for each and everyone of them. If you want to open your heart and home to one of these babies we will gladly accept your adoption application. It can be found on our website:carolinahelpingpawsrescue.org

Adoption fee is $150.00.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alyssa, a Sumter Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever for sale in Sumter, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Sumter.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sumter already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sumter breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sumter paves the way for another one to be saved.
