Edwina's Info...

Edwina's Story...
I am Edwina and I must confess that my foster Mom thought I was Edgar for a very long time!

I am the little one among my siblings, but I hold my own. I am a friendly girl who loves to snuggle and am pretty gentle. I am happiest with my people and my other foster siblings. I do not like to be alone when it is much more fun to be with my friends.

I am also an adventurer and like my sisters, find myself in the kitchen sink a lot. I do not know why my foster Mom does not me me there as I enjoy playing with the drain. I am a confident and loving girl and am ready for my forever home.

Are you looking for a little love or two to join your family?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Edwina, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
