Little Red Haired Girl's Story...
Hello, my name is Little Red Haired Girl. I was brought to DHA from a hoarding situation. I am here with a few of my friends, Charile Brown, Sally Brown, and Lucy to name a few. I am a very outgoing and extremely lovable five year old girl. If you're looking for a pal who will admire and love you, I might be the one for you. I am very playful and curious. I like to be pet and hugged. When I want your attention, I may jump on you and knead you or just rub against you. I may not always settle in for long periods of time because I tend to be active. Either way, you will find I am enjoyable to have around. Many of my friends like my company, so I should be good with other cats, too.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Little Red Haired Girl, a Wilmington Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Wilmington, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Wilmington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wilmington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wilmington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wilmington paves the way for another one to be saved.
