My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Petey and I am one of those reservation dogs that make AMAZING additions to your family. Life started off pretty 'ruff' for me and my sisters but then the ladies from the rescue came out and changed that for us. Before my sisters found their perfect families they took good care of me out on the reservation so I REALLY like girl dogs. I am still pretty shy around people, but just give me a few minutes and I promise to warm up. I LOVE snuggling, going for walks (runs) and playing with my foster sister Kona (who is a big rough German Shepard). I am about a year old, 45lbs, totally potty trained, crate trained and doggie door trained....My foster family taught me basic commands, but I'm still young and have a bit of a stubborn side. I need a family with another dog (preferably female wink wink), I'm interested in cats because one lives with me, and every night I get to sleep with Kona and my 14 year old human brother so I probably need to be with a family with older kids. Please take a minute to get to know me and I promise to be the best fur-baby you ever adopt!
