Watson's Story...
Meet Watson! He is a one year old lab mix weighing 63 lbs. Watson has a lot of energy and is very friendly to everyone he meets. He really enjoys playing fetch, tug a war and meeting other canine friends. He would be good in a home of kids of any age, dogs, not cats. Watson is just as sweet as can be, he is very trainable. He knows sit and learning other commands. He is learning to walk on a leash, with time we know he will perfect it. Watson is up to date on all vaccinations including rabies, heartworm negative and neutered. He is available for adoption in the Midwest and East Coast. If you are interested in Watson please complete an application at www.luckylabrescue.com and mention him in the notes section.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Watson, a Lewisville Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Lewisville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Lewisville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lewisville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lewisville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lewisville paves the way for another one to be saved.
