Paco's Story...
Meet Paco! Paco is such a fun and outgoing companion and he loves to be by your side wherever you go. He loves meeting new people, and he has never met a stranger! He would love to tag along with you when you go for car rides. He is fully house trained, and he is crate trained as well. He loves going for walks and he walks great on the leash. He enjoys playing with other dogs and would be a great playmate for dogs of all sizes, but he needs to be in a home without cats because he likes to play too much, according to the cats. ;). Paco loves to play with his toys, and he loves to snuggle with you while you are watching tv. He is a fun little guy to have around the house, and he loves to receive affection. Paco is 11 lbs and is around 4 years old. He looks to have a little bit of dachshund in him based on his little feet. Paco has been neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for heartworms, and he is current on Trifexis. You can fill out an application for Paco here: http://forrescue.net/dog-application/. Once received, Paco's foster mom will contact you and she would love to answer any questions you have. Paco is located in Huntsville, AL, but is available for adoption in your area.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Paco, a Nashville Chihuahua/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
