Eskie is a sweet senior girl in need. This gentle dog looks like a stuffed animal -- she must have been the most adorable puppy ever born! She's lived a long life and must have been recently abandoned by her former family because she was found wandering the streets lost and disoriented in Staten Island. She's got cloudy eyes, patchy fur, and wobbly legs, but she deserves just as much love as any other dog. She soaks up affection and adores having her chin and cheeks scratched. She's very low energy and low maintenance and would make an excellent companion for someone who works at home and/or wants a quiet friend to cuddle with.

IF YOU WANT TO APPLY TO ADOPT THIS DOG, please complete an adoption application here:

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Eskie, a Manhattan American Eskimo Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Eskimo Dog for sale in Manhattan, or seeking a American Eskimo Dog dog from a breeder in Manhattan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Manhattan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Manhattan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Eskimo Dog breeders who help with American Eskimo Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Manhattan paves the way for another one to be saved.
