MINI YELLOW LAB!! Tell us that's not one of the best dog smiles you've ever seen!!! Rocky is a wonderfully loving and loyal boy. We rescued him straight from the euthanasia list recently -- the poor boy was abandoned by his family because they were moving, and now he's looking for his real forever family, one that will give him the same devotion he'll give you. Rocky is gorgeous with the kind of adorable puppy face that will never grow old. He's about 4 years old and 36 pounds but should lose 5 to 10. He's a mini! Rocky gets very attached to the people he loves, so he's a little slow to warm up at first but once he does he rolls over for belly rubs, pushes himself against you for affection, and follows you around like your'e the most important thing in his world... which you are! Rocky is great with other dogs and cats.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocky, a Manhattan Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Manhattan, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Manhattan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Manhattan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Manhattan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Manhattan paves the way for another one to be saved.
