This little man is a prince! Cashmere is 1 year old and 18 pounds, and he's got THE most adorable underbite of 2014. You can't see it in this pic, but usually both bottom canines stick out. Cashmere's eyes are a little red in this pic because he just arrived today from the kill shelter, where he was so stressed out he couldn't calm down. He was a little shy when he got here, but almost immediately he blossomed into the coolest little pup you can imagine! He runs around, leaps into our laps, jumps about with the other dogs, and snuggles up for cuddle time. Cashmere is very eager to join a loving, affectionate, playful family. He's great with other dogs and cats!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cashmere, a Manhattan Beagle/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Chihuahua for sale in Manhattan, or seeking a Beagle/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Manhattan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Manhattan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Manhattan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Chihuahua breeders who help with Beagle/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Manhattan paves the way for another one to be saved.
