Star is a bright little star! This girl is truly amazing. She's 18 months and about 15 pounds, and she has amazingly soft curly puffy fur. She's like a tiny puffy wolf! Star is friendly with everyone she meets and loves other dogs -- she used to live with three of them but was given away because there were too many dogs in the house. Poor girl! She's very well behaved and wonderfully loving.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Star, a Manhattan Cairn Terrier/Miniature Schnauzer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier/Miniature Schnauzer for sale in Manhattan, or seeking a Cairn Terrier/Miniature Schnauzer dog from a breeder in Manhattan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Manhattan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Manhattan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier/Miniature Schnauzer breeders who help with Cairn Terrier/Miniature Schnauzer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Manhattan paves the way for another one to be saved.
