Nutmeg is a stunner! She is 2 and a half years old and 8 lbs. She's so little and so pretty! She is eager to love and to please, and she's friendly with everyone she meets. Nutmeg is very smart and is a pro cuddler! Also great with other animals, will make a wonderfully loyal little companion and great travel buddy. Housebroken! Her foster mom says: "Nutmeg loves a few licks of Greek yogurt and is crazy about her treats (Blue Bits chewy chicken). She's housebroken and the sweetest, quietest little angel. She is very loving and all she wants is to curl up on your lap and sleep or give you kisses. We got her a bed yesterday which she absolutely loves, and feels safe in. Nutmeg feels best when she is propped on the couch in her bed next to her humans and she will keep busy for hours chewing on her junior bully stick, which she absolutely loves. She is not the most active dog so she doesn't care much for toys so far. She sleeps a lot, if it's warm and quiet you can count on her being asleep, especially after her walks. She slept through the whole night in her crate on her bed, which was impressive. Nutmeg is still learning how to lead on a leash. If it's a busy street she will be walking at your pace but half a step behind you, by your side. If the street is wide open, she feels more confident and leads. If there are a lot of lights or cars trying to turn when we cross, she gets a bit scared. She also has this funny habit of following the person in front of us. She is more curious about humans than about other dogs, sometimes she gets distracted by humans on the street and walks up to them, wanting to see what's up :) If you're in another room she'll come looking for you, wagging her tiny tail. Nutmeg is very easy to handle. She doesn't resist, bite or nip, we haven't even heard her voice so far, even when she didn't like what we were doing (e.g. put her in her crate, take her outside for a walk on the scary street!). She just kind of freezes and lets you do what you need to do. She is not demanding. She is a total love bug."
