Please consider that many of these dogs have been abandoned, ignored by their previous owners, or turned in to a shelter, having little interaction with someone who cares about them. When adopted, they will need time to adjust to the changes in their life.
Roman is a handsome adult GSD, about 4 1/2 years old. He knows his commands and is a very loyal and protective dog. His foster mom reports that once you earn his trust, he is your shadow. Roman will need to go to an experienced GSD handler who doesn't have a lot of people coming and going on a daily basis. He prefers not to share his house with another dog and he is not very fond of strangers. Because of Roman's super protectiveness, he needs to go to a home without kids. If you are looking for a dedicated, protective GSD, Roman is your boy!
Although we do our best to keep our adoptable animals page as current as possible, not all the animals you see may be available . We get dogs often, so get your application in, and we will do our best to match the best dog to you and your circumstances.
