My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rosalinda is a 5 year old female Shih tzu who came to us a few weeks ago from an Amish puppy mill. She was in the worst shape of the dogs rescued that day, and under all those filthy mats was emaciated and anemic from parasites and starvation. She's been in one of our experienced foster homes and has finally gained enough weight to be able to get spayed and get a much needed dental, and then will be ready to go to a permanent home where she can leave her past neglect behind. She's a sweetheart who loves attention and is great with other dogs, and is looking for a calmer home with at least one other doggie friend to help her feel more comfortable. We do not have a shelter- all our pets are in foster homes and can be seen by appointment only during the week, or at our weekly pet adoptions every Sunday at the Animal Clinic of Morris Plains from 12:30 to 3PM at 3009 Route 10 East next to 5 Star Car Wash (formerly Boulder Car Wash) in Morris Plains (Denville on GPS). Local inquiries only please- we do not do long distance adoptions.
