Juniper's Story...
13 weeks old - Juniper has always been our shyest of Holly's litter. Now that all her siblings have been adopted, she's getting to spend more time with her foster mom & dad's personal dogs and they are helping her come out of her shell! She's becoming very playful and loves to tug on her foster brother's ears and tail. Juniper could possibly be a border collie/lab mix from her looks. She would do best in a home that is experienced with reserved dogs, as Juniper will still shy away from her foster parents sometimes. She is a sweet girl, and just needs someone who can work with her! Her foster parents hope that by the time she's adopted, she'll have already come full circle. She can be energetic, running around the house and yard with her foster siblings, but also loves her puppy naps. Are you the perfect match for sweet Juniper?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Juniper, a Allen Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Allen, or seeking a Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Allen.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allen already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allen breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allen paves the way for another one to be saved.
