My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bruce is an 8 year old male cat who was at one point a house cat. He came to us in 2015 already fixed and was front-declawed. He had been living outside for an unknown amount of time and was accidentally caught in a skunk trap. He only weighed 6 pounds because he was not able to catch any food due to being declawed. Bruce quickly started putting on weight, was given a clean bill of health and adopted. Unfortunately, due to no fault of his own, he was returned because his owner had to go into an assisted living home. Bruce is a very chatty cat. He loves people and wants to cuddle and follow them around. He tries to be at eye or hand level with you as much as possible. Bruce will beg for food whenever possible because he loves to eat! He acts like a tough guy but loves to cuddle up and wants a lot of attention. He would do best with older children. Dogs are ok. He can be aggressive towards other cats so he would do best either with no other cats or with cats who will ignore his grumblings until he gets a chance to adjust to being safe and loved again.
