Penguin & Badger's Story...
These oh so handsome boys are Penguin and Badger, named after their striking black and white markings. They are almost identical! And two peas in a pod for sure. They unfortunately spent most of their lives in a shelter, with very little love or attention, until we got them out at 3 months old. They didn't even know they could meow! They are now 5 months old, and have become the happiest kitties around! They have a house, windows, and best of all, TOYS! They are still a little shy, but so very sweet. Please consider taking this dynamic duo home! They are fully vetted, microchipped, and ready to meet you! The boys are located in Huntsville, AL and we'd love to arrange a meeting. Please email info@FORrescue.net and their foster mom will call you asap!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Penguin & Badger, a Chattanooga Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Chattanooga, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Chattanooga.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chattanooga already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chattanooga breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chattanooga paves the way for another one to be saved.
