Yukon Cornelius's Story...
Yukon Cornelius is a large white and grey male maine coon mix. He is approximately 5 years old. He has been neutered and microchipped. He tested negative for Felv/FIV. He is a massive cat! He needs to lose some weight and loves to eat, so a diet would help him slim down a bit, but he will keep his maine coon size. He is such a sweet cat. He loves to give hugs and purrs as soon as you are around him. He has beautiful unique markings and his photos don't show it, but he has nice fluffy fur. He has an old scar on his right retina. It is nothing to worry about and is not causing him any pain or loss of vision. He has been checked out by a veterinary specialist. He is looking for his forever home for Christmas. If you're interested in learning more about Yukon, please contact us. We would love for you to meet him.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Yukon Cornelius, a Waldorf Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Waldorf, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Waldorf.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waldorf already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waldorf breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waldorf paves the way for another one to be saved.
