My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello. My name is Dove. I am about two months old. I came to BRHS as a stray with two littermates. I'm still working on figuring out what I think about people, but my kitten friends are helping me out a ton. Feel free to stop in and visit with us!

Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances.

Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. Please either bring your own carrier in to take home your new family member, or plan to purchase one of ours. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
