William is an adult, neutered male cat, born 2013. He is a bit shy and retiring, not afraid of people, just hesitant about how he will be received. Once he knows someone likes him, he comes out of his shell and likes to be petted and talked to. He's quite thin and we suspect he hasn't had an easy life for quite awhile, so he is focused on getting his strength back and taking lots of naps. William is quiet and well-mannered, he lets the other cats intimidate him a little, but as he gets used to the shelter, he'll start talking back to them.
We'd like to find William a home where he can be king of the castle, or with some other really nice cats that will make him feel welcome.
Update: William was getting a little stressed out with all the other cats around him and not eating, so he's gone to live with a wonderful foster home where he can have just one cat friend to get used to. if you would like to meet him, please give us a call at 701-356-7877.
