My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adopted - March 2017

Hey! It’s me, Ted!

I’m a 1 1/2yr old (born late August 2015) Orange/Ginger tabby. I’m house trained, up to date on vaccinations and have been neutered.

Now I’ve been with MAR for a while. I just needed some extra time to gain some confidence in myself and others around me. My parents were really cool cats. They were living outside near a store in Katrine when we (me and my brothers) came along. They did their best but it was getting harder to find food so they started hanging around the store more and more. That’s when the really nice owner noticed them and us and called Muskoka Animal Rescue. They took us in and they also made sure Mama & Papa were fixed (whatever that means) and found them a good barn to live in where they are fed and safe.

I like to hang out with other cats (and dogs too!) so if you already have a cat or two and have room for one more that would be perfect for me! I like to hang out in the same room with everyone, keeping an eye on what’s going on. I’ve recently discovered that I really enjoy getting head scratches (they feel so good they make my tail twitch!) and have started asking for them more and more, especially at bedtime when my foster Mama is all tucked in and it’s nice and quiet. My foster family is the best so I decided that it’s ok to let them pet me and give me some loving too. I even let the kids pet me when they are calm and respectful, they give good scratches!

I know there is a special forever home out there for me, I just gotta find it!
