Bridget's Story...
Hi, my name is Bridget. I was born in a backyard. The people who lived there took care of me until Stray Cat Blues had space in one of their foster homes.

I am shy. I like petting but not a lot of holding. I have been fostered for 2 months and am now ready for my forever home.

Bridget has features often seen in a Russian Blue - from her blue/gray coloring and narrow jaw line to her shy personality, thick coat and her need for attention and preference for a quiet environment.

She will do best with a human who will be around a lot as she gets lonely, scared and cries when left alone.  She is very alert and curious.  A good tall scratching post is a must as she loves to stretch.  She needs a nail trim every two weeks.  She is very playful once she learns how the toy works.  Indoor life is new and scary but she is adapting.

Bridget is spayed, litterbox trained, is up to date on vaccinations, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV. Her estimated date of birth is 6/26/15.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bridget, a Colmar Russian Blue kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Russian Blue for sale in Colmar, or seeking a Russian Blue kitten from a breeder in Colmar.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colmar already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colmar breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Russian Blue breeders who help with Russian Blue rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colmar paves the way for another one to be saved.
