Half-Pint's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Half-Pint's Story...
Half-Pint is my name, being silly is my game! I am a sweet little guy who loves people and other dogs. I am quick to give kisses to my favorite people, which is really everybody, and I love to play. When I am done playing, I am a great lap dog and cuddle buddy. I sleep quietly through the night in my crate and am almost completely house trained with only an occasional accident. My foster mom thinks I'm almost 100% and says a regular routine is what helped me. I hardly bark and like to play chase in the yard with the other dogs. For an all around great little guy who will fit into just about any situation, please email info@habitat4paws.org for more on adopting me.

**Because we require home visits, we only adopt locally to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. For more on our adoption policies, please see the Adopt page of our website, www.habitat4paws.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Half-Pint, a McKinney Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua for sale in McKinney, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in McKinney.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McKinney already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McKinney breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McKinney paves the way for another one to be saved.
