Hello my name is Betsy and I'm as sweet as I am gorgeous! I'm the perfect mix of energy and cuddle buddy and take direction well. I'm told that I'm a very smart girl who knows basic obedience and my foster parents say I'm a quick learner. So far I know sit, down, wait/stay, leave it, come, high five, shake, and my release command (ok). I'm also learning rollover! They continue to teach me new things all the time which is great fun. Since arriving to TCPR I haven't met any other dogs or cats yet so it's unclear how I'll do and will require slow intros if you have any other pets in the home. I LOVE kids. My foster parents have nieces, nephews and younger siblings and I was very gentle when I met the 3-5 year old kids. I should still be supervised with them though since I'm a pretty large dog. Toys are great too. I enjoy playing with my peanut butter stuffed kong, everlasting toys, squeaky balls, and stuffed squeaky animals (I tear these apart pretty fast though). I also love running around the backyard, getting yummy treats from my fosters, and hanging out in the living room with them. I don't like being left alone in a room when my fosters are home. If they both leave the room I typically follow them even if it means leaving my dinner or treats behind. Despite this, I do great in my crate at night and while my fosters are away at work. I don't whine or get upset when I'm crated which will make transitioning to my adoptive home much easier than if I wasn't crate trained!
