My name is Charlie. I am a labrador retriever/border collie mix. I am playful, energetic, and affectionate, although I am a bit shy with new folks, I warm up quickly. My favorite activity is playing tag with my sister, Chelsea and chillin' in my pool. My sister and I were abandoned on the side of the road, in bad shape when were were about 10 weeks old. Thankfully were were found and brought to rescue where we would be safe and loved, but what I really want is a home of my very own and one for my sister also, we have been waiting so long to share our love with a family, one that will never abandon us, one that will love us forever.
I am current on my vaccinations, neutered and ready to fill your life with joy!!
If you would like to adopt me or my sister, or even both of us together please
Email Ruralanimalrescueeffort@gmail.com for an application!

About Rural Animal Rescue Effort (RARE)

About Our Rescue Group...

Rural Animal Rescue Effort (RARE) is an organization that is dedicated to saving animals in rural areas, mainly in 'pounds' and shelters, both high-kill and no-kill. There tends to be a higher overpopulation rate in rural areas due to lack of animal ordinances and alteration to prevent unwanted litters. Many animals are 'dumped' on country roads left to parish or end up at the local pound or animal shelter if they have an empty kennel. Many of these animals have a limited number of days before they are euthanized. In addition to placing animals in foster and adoptive homes, networking with rescues to assist in placement and adoption of animals, RARE also performs fundraisers for spay/neuters and other vetting to prevent further overpopulation and promote quality of life for the animals we save.

Our Adoption Process...

Adoption fees cover all vetting for the animals in our care, including vaccinations, Heart-worm test, Heart-worm treatment if needed, Feline Leukemia test, spay/neuter and may vary, depending on species.

Fosters and Adopters will be required to complete an application with personal and Veterinary references. A home visit is also required.
RESCUES, please contact us regarding pull information or pull fee, if any, depending on vetting already provided by RARE.
