My name is Mariah!

Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer Mix Dog for adoption in Phoenix, Arizona - Mariah

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Mariah's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Mariah's Story...
We think it's pretty funny that Mariah posed so serious for her picture, because she is NOT a serious dog! She's actually a super happy, wiggly dog and her tail never stops wagging. Mariah is SO happy to meet new people and get pets. If you want friendly, sweet and outgoing- this is your girl!

Mariah gets along with her kennel mate who is around the same size, however the shelter always recommends meet and greets prior to adoption. Bring your dog from home in and staff and volunteers can help you make sure everyone gets along.

You can visit 1 yr old Mariah in C building at the Maricopa County Animal Care & Control West shelter at 2500 S. 27th Ave., Phx Az. Mariah's adoption fee is $50 and includes rabies vaccination, County license, spay and microchip.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mariah, a Phoenix Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
