Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Gideon is still a goofy puppy at 5-6 months of age. He weighs a solid 35 pounds and will likely top out at about 50 pounds when he is full grown and fleshed out. He is playful, and friendly as all puppies should be, but not 'over the top' energetic as some we have known. He is in a foster home with other dogs and cats, and gets along well with everyone. For more info on Gideon or to schedule a meet and greet, call/text his foster dad at 225-288-4970
You might also be able to catch Gideon at our Dog Adoption House at 8476 Highland Rd! The hours are M-F: 11:30-5pm / Sat & Sun: 11-3pm! However, be sure contact Gideon's foster home first at to make they will be there on that day.
We have an application process to ensure that each dog and family is the right match. All applications must be approved prior to adoption. If you would like to start the application process to find out if you would be a good match, below are the instructions to our online application.
Your completed application is auto-emailed to our organization for review once you hit submit . Please also inform the foster once you have submitted. All questions MUST be answered. If a question doesn't apply, just put "NA". You will receive an auto-reply thanking you for submitting your application. Please allow us some time for review!
